My Style

I believe good interior design is about feeling invited into an environment that is both functional and beautiful. Beyond making the best possible use of every nook and corner, a well-designed home should radiate personality, love and passion. It should represent who you are, or perhaps who you want to be, as well as delighting those who enter into it. As an interior designer, I’m energized by the process of transforming spaces for my clients. I feel personally connected to each project and treat every space as I would my own home.

About me

I’ve lived in Basel, Switzerland for the past 13 years with my husband and 2 children. We enjoy outdoor activities such as skiing, snowboarding and hiking, as well as relaxing together in our family home. While I’ve had a few other careers in the past, interior design has been a life-long passion of mine. After a full house renovation project here in Switzerland, my love for creating was reconfirmed. I so enjoyed bringing a design vision to life that I wanted to do the same for others, and so began Katie Lane Interiors!

Whether you’re in need of guidance for a wall display, a room design or an entire home, I’d love to be there to support you on your journey. Who knows, you may end up loving the design process as much as I do! Or maybe you’d prefer someone to take on the entire project - that’s okay too!
